What will I study?

This qualification helps to raise awareness of mental health, understand mental health and promote positive mental health. It includes positive mental health care and how this can be applied to learners or colleagues in the workplace. The purpose of this qualification is to develop the skills to support colleagues and others with mental health problems. These skills will be gained by increasing your knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and the principles of mental health first aid and how this can be implemented in the workplace.

( 1 Assessment = 30 questions, 4 weeks)

3 weeks of distance learning (1 assessment) 

What qualifications will I get?

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid & Mental Health Advocacy in The Workplace.

 

How will I be assessed?

Assessments will be marked by an allocated tutor who will provide you with detailed feedback. You will be assessed against criteria where all learning outcomes of the course have to be covered; your tutor will give you guidance for this.

What are the entry requirements?

No specific entry requirements, an initial assessment will be completed at enrolment.

What else do I need to know?

You must be aged 19+ and have lived within the European Economic Area (EEA) for at least 3 years. You must be based in England; however some postcode exclusions apply - please enquire for confirmation of eligibility. In addition to this, please note that participants cannot be currently enrolled on an apprenticeship or higher education training programme.

These courses are fully funded at zero cost unless they are not completed and learning materials are retained by the learner; please note that in these circumstances, there is a £125 fee.
