Where will this course lead?

Successful completion of this course could lead to learners having the ability to carry out the inspection and testing of electrical equipment in the workplace, more commonly known as PAT testing.

What will I study?

You will learn, develop, and practice the skills needed to inspect and test electrical equipment to the latest edition of the code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

How will this course be delivered?

A combination of classroom-based theory and practical sessions delivered over two and a half days, with assessments being completed in the afternoon of the third day.

What qualifications will I get?

Level 3 Award in the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will consist of one online, open book multiple choice exam of 50 questions, and a practical exercise.

None, however, some electrical knowledge or experience would be beneficial.
