The marketing team at Stratford-upon-Avon College were delighted to pick up a sector award for the College’s new website at the FE First Awards 2019.
The FE First Awards are part of the College Marketing Network’s annual national conference, which brings together college marketing professionals from across the country to share best practice.
The new website was part of a wider project following the merger with Solihull College & University Centre. Along with the new Stratford website, the project involved a refresh of the Solihull website, new functionality added including ways to link between the two to ensure visitors are aware of the other college’s offer, plus subject specific ‘relevant news’ sections, a ‘search by interest’ function and more. The team worked with digital innovation company Dev Clever on the project.
Head of Marketing & Communications at Stratford-upon-Avon College and Solihull College & University Centre, Sean Howitt commented: “It’s fantastic that as a combined college we have received this recognition from experts in the sector. It’s testament to the hard work of the team and all staff involved. Our goal is to continuously improve the experience of everyone who uses the website.”
The marketing team will continue to work with curriculum and support teams across the College to ensure the website meets the needs of all of its users as we move in to 2020.
